Making of a website of an institution which is about 140 years old is not an easy task. It requires meticulous planning and digging details out of such a long history. The very idea of having a website seemed fascinating and daunting at the same time. However, when some members of the OSA started pooling their resources for this onerous task, the idea which appeared to be nebulous initially started crystallizing and finally it took shape in the form of this website.

At the very outset the OSA expresses its gratitude to all the Office Bearers, Executive Members of the OSA and the College Principal, Dr. Sukhbir Singh Thind, an alumnus and former teacher and the Patron of the OSA, who responded with unrestrained enthusiasm to the idea of OSA website. They all extended every possible help and support.

The OSA has received unflinching support and encouragement in all possible ways from all college faculty members, former Principals and many old colleagues for this website. We are beholden to all of them for all the support they extended to us from time to time.

The OSA is grateful to Dr. Swaraj Raj, an alumnus and Head, Dept. of English of the College and Dr. Raj Kumar Goyal for their very valuable help and support at every step in translating the idea of OSA website in to a reality.
