The Chandigarh Chapter of the OSA, Govt. Mohindra College, Patiala, was inaugurated on 19th May, 2007 at Chandigarh. A meeting of old students of Govt. Mohindra College, Patiala was held in the Conference Room of Press Club, Sector-27, Chandigarh. Sh. Jagjit Puri, IAS, Secretary to Govt. of Punjab, Department of Public Relations and Medical Education, an alumnus of Mohindra College, inaugurated the meeting. Prominent personalities like Dr. Bhagat Singh, Former, V.C. Punjabi University, Patiala, Mr. J. Roy Mangla, Prof. M. S. Salh, Prof. S. C. Sharma, Sh. Naresh Kaushal, Editor, Dainik Tribune, Justice P. K. Palli and  Justice K. C. Gupta also participated in the meeting.
Justice M. R. Agnihotri, Hon’ble Judge, Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, was unanimously elected its President.
Mr. N. S. Rattan, IAS, former Finance Secretary, Punjab,  Sh. Jagjit Puri, IAS,  Padam Bhushan Dr. Sardar Anjum and Prof. Joginder Kaushal were elected members of the Advisory Committee on the occasion.
