OLD STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION
GOVT. MOHINDRA COLLEGE, PATIALA
GENERAL BODY MEETING HELD ON 28.05.2006

1. Book on the history of the college to be published.
2. Bio-data of 125/150 distinguished old Mohindrian to be collected and published in a book.
3. New chapters of OSA at Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta and in foreign countries (USA, UK, Australia and Canada) to be organized.
4. Enrolment of new members for publishing a new directory of 1000 life patrons and life members.
5. Alumni Section of 10-20 pages in the college magazine to be re-introduced.
6. Separate Section containing the works of old Mohindrians to be created in the college library.
7. Photo-Gallery of 150 distinguished old Mohindrians to be prepared.
8. Memorial lectures concerning late distinguished old Mohindrians to be started.
9. Faculty meets of old and existing members of faculty of Mohindra College, Patiala to be organized.
10. Functions for holding interaction between the old and existing Mohindrians to be organized.
11. Completion of the development works:
12. Repair and renovation work of the old college building.
13. To mobilise resources for a new gymnasium hall, new cycle stand, health centre, alumini home-cum-office.
14. Removal of encroachments on Govt. land around the college building particularly in front of Thandi Khuhi and Main Gate of the College.
15. To try for land lying near the swimming pool for the college.
16. Function to honour the distinguished old Mohindrians and old teachers to be organized.
17. More News letters to be printed and circulated.
18. Free/open discussion meeting of the old students shall be organized frequently.
19. More seminars/symposiums, talks and memorial lectures on current issues to be organizing.
20. To honour the old teachers and sewadars of the college.
21. To arrange more medals and scholarships for the deserving students in academics and sports.
22. To fix the old Mohindrian Day in a year.
23. To organize 'Mohindra Youth Forum', 'Mohindra Thinkers Forum', 'Literary Forum' and for Art and Culture Forum and Sports, etc.
24. to organize Mela-Mohindra every year.
25. To organize sports/literary/cultural activities in the College by the old students.
26. To update and improve the working of office, to make the Association more active and result oriented.
27. To plan and execute any other programme for achieving the objects and aims of the Old Students' Association.
